Important Note – Pass is only valid on Tuesdays through Fridays. Pass cannot be used during February vacation (2/21/22-2/25/22), April vacation (4/18/22-4/22/22), New Years Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Masks are required by all visitors. Starting in 2022, museum is only open Thursdays through Mondays. It will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Pass allows for free parking at most DCR parks. Typical fees for ocean beaches are $15 per day, inland beaches $8 per day, and scenic/historic sites $5 per day.

A timed ticket is required for entry. You can purchase them online or by calling (617) 723-2500. You’ll receive a confirmation email including a QR code to be scanned at exhibition halls for admission. Please present library pass and e-mail confirmation for entry to museum.

Instructions for reserving tickets
After patrons have gotten their pass from the Library, patrons should present their coupons on-site at the Aquarium ticket booth. For more information, please visit – and click on the “Library Coupons” tab.


Library Pass Rules

  1. Only adult cards can check out museum passes.
  2. Patron MUST be in good standing with the library.
  3. One pass per family, per day can be used.
  4. Patrons may reserve passes up to one month in advance by calling the Wareham Free Library at 508-295-2343 and dial 0.
  5. Lost returnable passes will be billed at $50 and the patron will lose pass privileges for 3 months.
  6. Lost coupons cannot be replaced.
  7. Passes may be picked up one or two days before use.
  8. Returnable passes must be returned promptly on the following day to the Wareham Free Library – Main Library.
