Fall Indoor Book Sale

Thursday, October 21 – 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday, October 22 – 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday, October 23 – 9:30 AM – 2 PM

Used book sales will be held in the Meeting Room of the Main Library, and access to the sale is from the Meeting Room door, not through the library. All patrons entering the library must wear masks. Please bring your own shopping bags.

Local Author Sharon Ward To Visit Library

Wednesday, October 27 – 7 PM

Join us as local author Sharon Ward talks about her book, “In Deep: A Fin Fleming Thriller.” Ward will also discuss the writing process, the path to publication, and her experience as a PADI-certified Dive Master.

Copies of her book will be available for sale at this free event.


“1620: The First Year” Presentation by Historian Christopher Daley

Monday, November 15 – 7 PM

Come learn about the journey taken by the Pilgrims across the Atlantic and the difficulties they faced during the first winter in Plymouth. The discussion will also include the first encounters with the Wampanoag Native Americans.

Jewelry & Accessory Sale


The Friends of the Wareham Free Library will be hosting a jewelry and accessory sale in November. Find new, or gently used, or broken jewelry. New or gently used purses, hats, gloves, and scarves are also available. Both items make great holiday gifts!
